Safety & Health

Building the foundation of resilience — your people are your most valuable asset, and a genuine safety culture reduces operational risk while securing the talent advantage.

Why It Matters

Compliance Is The Floor, Not The Ceiling

Kenya's Occupational Safety and Health Act 2007 places clear duties on employers: annual statutory audits, risk assessments, trained first aiders and fire marshals, and functioning safety committees. Falling short carries legal exposure and, more importantly, human cost.

We handle the statutory requirements and then go further, embedding the habits that actually reduce incidents. We do not just certify — we implement systems that integrate safety into daily operations.

We own our measurement equipment, including a Brüel & Kjær integrating sound level meter and air and water investigation apparatus, so occupational hygiene work is not subcontracted.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How often is a statutory OSH audit required?

Kenyan employers must have workplaces audited annually by an approved safety and health advisor, with the report submitted to the Directorate of Occupational Safety and Health Services. Fire safety audits under the Fire Risk Reduction Rules are a separate annual requirement.

Do you carry out the noise and air measurements yourselves?

Yes. We own our instrumentation, including a Brüel & Kjær type 2240 integrating sound level meter and apparatus for air and water investigation, and we work with accredited laboratories where sample analysis is required.

Can you help after an incident has occurred?

Yes. We support root cause investigation, statutory reporting obligations and the corrective action programme that follows.

What sectors have you worked in?

Oil and gas, manufacturing, textiles and EPZ, sugar, tea, horticulture, petroleum, food and dairy, hospitality, county government and the humanitarian sector.
